In Thailand and India, many women and young girls living in poverty are being pushed into the sex industry just to feed their families. They endure humiliation, abuse, and shame day after day. Many will start as young as 12 years old and will quit only when they are too sick to continue.

But you can help. All it takes is $50 to help one girl experience freedom from the sex trade. You will provide critical needs like a safe place to live, counseling, education, medical care, outreach, and more.

Poverty and tradition have trapped women and girls in sexual slavery.

In the Banchara community of India and the red-light districts of Thailand, many girls don’t get the chance to dream about what they want to be when they grow up. Their futures have already been decided. Traditionally, women in these cultures are expected to provide for their families. Since most are too poor to get an education, they believe they are left with only one choice — working in the sex industry.

How You Can Help

For $50, you can help one girl experience freedom from the sex trade by providing essentials like a safe place to live, counseling, medical care, and education or vocational training so she can start a career she loves. Your gift will also give her the opportunity to learn about the love of Jesus Christ.

Our Financial Commitment

Your gift will be used exclusively for the exempt purposes of World Help, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be considered tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the federal tax laws. You should consult with your personal income tax advisor for more guidance about your individual tax situation. Gifts are considered to be without restriction unless explicitly stipulated by the donor. All restricted gifts for a specific project receive an administrative assessment, which is used to offset administrative and fundraising costs.

If contributed funds exceed the specific need of a project, or due to unforeseen circumstances the project cannot be completed, those funds will be used where they will make the greatest impact to fulfill the mission and purpose of World Help.
